There's more to getting a good portrait photograph than just aiming a camera at the subject and pressing a button. A good portrait should reveal something of the personality of the subject (or subjects). It's that element of creatively capturing someone's personality in a photograph that really interests me.  Because I'm passionate about creating great images of people, I'll work with you to capture stunning images during your photo shoot, and I'll do all I can to make the session relaxed and fun.  

Prices for individual and family shoots:

£75 for a session of up to 1½ hours in the studio, at your home, outdoors on location at a park or beauty spot, or perhaps in a more gritty urban location, which is a look that is often popular with older children and teenagers.  

I can offer longer sessions, even joining you for a full day out.  Contact me for details.

Outdoor shoots are obviously weather-dependent, so if we need to re-arrange a session at short notice, that's no problem.  Prices include travelling expenses to locations within 20 miles of Sevenoaks.  Costs of travelling to other locations will be agreed with you before the shoot.

Choosing your photos

About a week after the shoot you will be able to see a selection of the best photos, retouched as required. There will usually be 40 to 80 images depending on how long we spent together on the day. You can either view the pictures via a password-protected online gallery, or I can visit your home and show you a slideshow and some samples of frames and other presentation options. Home visits work best in the evenings, when young children have been put to bed and you can relax while looking at your pictures. 

Products and presentation

You can choose from standard prints, framed prints (including a great range of multiple image styles - as shown below), canvases, acrylics and albums.  

Unframed prints start at £10, framed prints at £75, and canvases at £140.
